A Killing in Dogwood

A Killing in Dogwood is about one-third a revisit of my childhood and the place where I was reared, one-third actual events and people, and one-third invented characters and fiction which is designed to illuminate and raise awareness regarding the horrors of child abduction and abuse.

A Killing in Dogwood is a fictional account of the murder of a young child in a small Missouri town modeled after the town in which I grew up. The book proceeds through several twists and turns and the reader doesn’t know the identity of the culprit(s) until the final page.
